We're so confident our Underwater FishLights will transform your fishing experience that we're backing it with our new "Proven Attraction" Guarantee!

Buy any HydroGlow light, and if it doesn't attract fish, we'll buy it back within 30 days of purchase date. You just pay shipping. That's how sure we are about our American-made quality.

  • "How long do I have to test my light?"
    • 30 days from the date of purchase
  •  "What's covered in the guarantee?"
    • Any light purchased directly from Hydroglow
  • "How do I claim if needed?"
    • Send an email to customerservice@hydroglow.com with your proof of purchase and reason for requesting a buy-back
  • "Then what happens?"
    • Customer Service will issue you a return label to mail your product back to us. Please make sure the product is clean and dry before packaging.
  • "How long will it take to get my money back?"
    • We will issue a refund of your purchase amount, minus shipping, to your original payment method within 14 days of receipt of return
  • "How many times can I use the program?"
    • We allow one redemption of the buy-back program per customer.
  • "Is the buy-back guarantee good for my whole order or a single light?"
    • A single light. We suggest purchasing a single item if you're unsure.

 

Warranty & Maintenance

Hydroglow lights are proudly assembled in the US by Americans receiving a living wage. We craft each light with care and attention, by hand, so that you can be assured of the finest product on the market. While we strive for quality and excellence in every way possible, accidents occur, and when they do, we want to make sure you can get back on the water as soon as possible.  While our buy-back guarantee only applies to lights purchased directly from Hydroglow, our extended manufacturers warranty will replace your light from any dealer (except for third party retailers like Ebay).

 Our extended warranty protects you from manufacturing defects for two years after date of purchase. This includes:

  • Lighting faults

  • Water intrusion

  • Cord failures

With any outdoor product, maintenance and care is required to ensure the longevity of your products. It is extremely important that you install and use our lights correctly to protect your investment and protect your warranty coverage.

 Portable lights:

  • Make sure that the light is connected to a 12v battery via the provided alligator clips

  • Do not leave portable lights submerged indefinitely. They are not designed to be mounted under water

  • After each session, make sure your light is clean and dry

 Docklights:

  • Our underwater dock lights are coated with an antifouling agent meant to repel creatures of all kinds. However, extra care is needed in salt water to protect your light from barnacles.

  • Underwater lights installed in salt water MUST be pulled up and cleaned every 90 days. You can use any anti-barnacle spray and a scraper to remove any growth. Please contact Hydroglow if your anti-fouling is wearing thin and we can sell a replacement tube for your use.

  • Your underwater docklight must be a minimum of 5 feet underwater to avoid boats and vessels. 

  • Make sure your transformer is out of the water, and that the light is installed per instructions.

  • NEVER remove your underwater dock light while it is plugged in.

A Warranty will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • There is uncontrolled barnacle growth

  • The cord, connector, or light body has been modified in any way

    • Cords that are cut and installed to shore power will not be warrantied

  • You cannot provide a proof of purchase

  • Your light was purchased from Ebay or third party reseller
